Remix Assignment: Alternate Book Cover [Dr. Seuss It!]. 5 Stars

For this assignment I chose to use the famous Feng Chen’s assignment depicting Lois Lowry’s The Giver in a different light. My job was to introduce a Dr. Seuss theme into the assignment. For this, I used a wonderful quote by him, which is one of my favorites.

In order to do this I used the Text insert tool in GIMP, which was easy enough to do. It allows you to move it around wherever you want it, change the color/font/font size, etc. Basically this was all I needed to do to accomplish what I wanted with this remix. I thought it hit a cool high note and I hope all of you guys enjoy!
